Yes, Data Roaming must be enabled for the eSIM to work. This is because eSIM uses international roaming networks to provide connectivity.

Don't worry about extra charges - all data usage is included in your purchased plan. You won't be charged any additional roaming fees.

How to enable:
  • iPhone: Settings > Cellular > [Your eSIM line] > Turn on Data Roaming
  • Android: Settings > Network > SIMs > [Your eSIM] > Turn on Roaming

Try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Enable Data Roaming (Most Common Issue!): Go to Settings > Cellular > [Your eSIM] > Turn on Data Roaming. This is required for the eSIM to work.
  2. Restart your phone: A simple restart often fixes connectivity issues
  3. Check network mode: Make sure your phone is set to 4G/LTE or Auto
  4. Reset network settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
  5. Manual network selection: Try selecting a network manually (Viettel, Mobifone, or Vinaphone)

Still having issues? Contact us with your ICCID number (found in your eSIM details).

Your data plan validity period begins when you first connect to a mobile network in Vietnam, not when you install the eSIM. This means you can install your eSIM before your trip and it won't start counting down until you arrive and connect.

Our eSIM provides data only. It does not include voice calls or SMS. However, you can use internet-based apps like WhatsApp, LINE, Telegram, or Skype for voice and video calls, as well as messaging. These work perfectly with your data plan.

Visit the My eSIM page and log in with your email. You'll see your data usage and remaining balance. Note that usage updates may be delayed by 30 minutes to a few hours depending on the carrier.

Refunds are available in these situations:

  • If you haven't installed/activated the eSIM yet
  • If the eSIM fails to work due to a technical issue on our end

Contact us with your order reference number and we'll process your refund within 5-7 business days.

If your plan supports top-ups (marked as "Refillable"), go to the My eSIM page, select your eSIM, and click "Top Up Data". You'll see available top-up packages. After purchase, the additional data is added to your existing eSIM automatically.
